As I await the new TLV-Neo releases and become ever more choosy with the TLV-Neo back catalogue, my eyes are starting to wander over to the TLV’s and that back catalogue with some rather good JDM’s available.
Once such instance is the Datsun Bluebird. The 510 series has a lot of collectors drooling over it, especially in the HW form. I can only put it down to a US&A thing. It is not that marvellous a vehicle, but somehow endears itself.
As a piece of 70s JDM, I thought it would be appropriate to welcome this one into the Garage. We have all the usual TLV traits of accurate tampos and detailing, so I cannot write much more than I already have done with these models.
You may notice inside that there is the use of two plastics which create the interior. This is very welcome as more often than most this is overlooked and just the one colour is used with the hope that no-one notices.
A good little model, it is amazing how this can actually fit in the back of the F24 Atlas.
It also does give me more cause to fully look at what TLV as opposed to Neo can give. Not everything is what I would like, but there are some good models here and this interpretation of the Bluebird is no exception.
