The Dodge Challenger has to be my favourite US “Muscle” car of recent times, more so than the Mustang and Camaro as it silhouette’s the original 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. I love seeing them in the metal and have done at Geneva and on the road.
Once again we have a good representation of the car here, but as usual it is devoid of detail. I don’t know how may times I have written here about this, but the car is ripe for MOC’ing and can be nicely detailed at the front and the rear.
I have to say that all the tampo strikes don’t seem to hold onto the model well, with it rubbing off quite easily. That is annoying a tad, but at times, I wish that HW just made plain coloured schemes rather than all this fancy bollocks.
Now both Mattel stables have produced a Challenger. Time for a musing as a compare and contrast shortly – what say ye?
