Bore Draw – Hammers 0, Everton 0

I am not going to say too much about this game – the reason being it was dreadful.

Adrian moved back in goal – Darren R had a good run, but the results don’t lie and whilst there have been some good displays by Randolph, the fact that we are mid table may have needed a change between the sticks.

No Carroll again, which surely must mean he is moved on in the summer.

There have been a few plaudits for James Collins – basically he shut out the prolific Lukaku in the game.

Lanzini showed a little bit of brilliance:

But there was much toil and little reward.

TBH, I will take a draw against Everton. They are a tough side, but scrapping a point here and there is not really good enough.

At this point in the season, we should be past the 40-point mark………..but then again this season has been nothing short of a complete mare……….

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic told BBC Sport: “I am really pleased with the performance, I could not ask any more from my players. In terms of effort, dedication and determination, they get top marks. If any team deserved three points it was us.

“To limit them to one chance requires a lot of hard work. The only bit of negativity is that I felt at moments we lacked some quality in our decision-making. We played like 11 lions, one for each other.

“We talk about the magic number of 40 [points for Premier League survival]. I think we might need a few more points, so we are not going into the last game [still in danger].”
